  • The Horrors of Stephen King Coming October

This October, you can catch a brand new documentary about Stephen King on TCM. Coming October 3 2011, you can see what really scares Stephen King as he talks about vampires, werewolves and the movies that inspired him to write (or maybe that should be scared him to write).

In A Night at the Movies: The Horrors of Stephen King, the horror master himself will discuss movies such as Freaks (1932), Cat People (1942), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Night of the Living Dead (1968), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), Jaws (1975), Halloween (1978) and The Changeling (1980), and many more.

All this kicks off a month of horror movie madness on TCM and will be a welcome addition to any fan of King, horror and movies.

chrisbennett I'm really looking forward to this! King's got some great stuff and some absolute garbage (and everything in between), but I love the small town atmosphere he creates in the books, and that is created in the movies.
