  Riots started in Tottenham the other day, and now they have spread to Croyden, across London, up to Birmingham and Manchester. Someone is going to die, the police are doing nothing and the Prime Minister is on holiday.

  It is terrible! I do hope someone does something to stop the mobs soon, cause it's only going to escalate and get worse. Don't like the fact that its spreading across the country. Not good!

  Mob mentality is one of the greatest flaws the human race has yet to extinguish. I hope everyone living in or near the areas the Riots are directing affecting are okay and that this situation ends quickly, for everyone's sake.

  Manchester is under attack tonight. Buildings on fire. West Brom and Leeds under attack too. Shocking. Mindless, greedy thugs.

  I'm sorry your country is going through this mess. I hope it ends quickly. Please wake up people, take a long look at yourself and see what you are doing.....stop this madness.

  It has stopped now thank God! But not before a lot of damage was done. Some people lost trheir houses, businesses and some great history was destroyed. The governement is busy prosecuting the people involved in the riots at the moment, so they're getting their just deserts.

  The rioters were out for trouble, and mostly it was just an excuse to indulge in anti-social behaviour and looting. The police could have done more. I would have used water cannons on them, to be perfectly honest

  I agree, they should have. It just seemed they let them to do what they wanted... it would have prevented the damage that was done had they acted sooner.
