I was so unprepared because I wasn't into the internet in 96 and I went with my friend on opening night. The friend was one of those people who made understatements all the time, so I should have known when she said, "they're saying this is like the old slashers" she meant "this is gonna rock your face off your head." So, yeah, blown away.
